The secret of success with fish feeding at all seasons is to give them as much as they will eat in thirty minutes but not so much that it will remain uneaten and pollute the water. The appetite of a fish varies considerably with the temperature of the water. Fish will not eat too much but it is possible to give them too much and trouble will result from uneaten food fouling the water.
